Shocks and Idle

Installed the summit racing shocks on the front of the car. Due to the size of our mounts on the chassis and the A Arm, and the size of the shock, we had to trim some of the chassis mounts for clearance. Also had to mount the shock with adjustment knobs down as the top and bottom shock mounts differ.

Adjusted the engine idle again as the idle rpm was sitting around 2000.   Found that the problem was with where we mounted the throttle cable clip below the supercharger and there being too much tension on the cable. Previously, when we’d adjusted the idle, we compensated for the small amount of throttle being on.   With the throttle cable readjusted and the idle readjusted the idle sat at the correct rpm and when the throttle was abruptly let off, the engine would drop back to idle normal without stalling out.
